Chonacthas ón traein

Ar an traein an maidín inniu, chonaic mé grúpa mhic léinn. Cé go bhfuil siad ag codladh san íomhá seo, cúpla nóiméid níos déanaí, bhí siad ag abair amhrán. Ba amhrán chuimhne é, faoi choinne ghramadaí na Gréigise.

Agus ag an stáisiún leathdheireanach, chonaic mé an fear seo. Cé go raibh an maidin fuar, bhí sé ag fanacht go foighneach leis a dhialann agus a chupan chaifé.

Is there an option for translating your blog to English? I've lived in Dublin, Ireland for many years, but can't speak Gaelic.

Hi rj,

Thanks for commenting; I'm tickled that you find the blog interesting.

I haven't provided an English version because I'm trying to practice writing in Irish. It's an interesting idea, but would take more time than I can devote to this right now.

I do have a blog in English, and you can see more photos here.

FYI, here's what this entry says:
"On the train this morning, I saw a group of students. Although they were napping in this shot, a couple minutes later they were singing. It was some mnemonic song about Greek grammar.

And at the next to last station, I saw this man. Although it was a cold morning, he was waiting patiently with his journal and his cup of coffee."

Hope you'll keep checking in all the same.
:^)
